The Royal Tour

While Kate, Will and George were touring Australia, we thought it only fair to do our bit.

So off we went on our own “royal tour" to the UK where we had a great reception from Austin’s family and were utterly spoilt by the Duke and Duchess of Durham Crescent.

The next stop was Tetney where we were invited to stay with Sir Angus I. and Lady Pamela in their gorgeous castle.

We were taken through beautiful Lincolnshire abloom with tulips, bluebells and daffodils, historic Lincoln Cathedral, home of the Magna Carta, and witnessed spitfire fly-overs and the great Lancaster bomber taxying at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.

We also learned a lot about the use and quality of juniper berries attending a birthday celebration of the master of the local Gin Society.

The next step of the tour took us to Germany where we celebrated 2 more very special Birthdays: the 95th Birthday of my beautiful mother and the 60th Birthday party for my beautiful sister-in-law, neither of them looking their age.

After a wonderful time with all our families and friends, we are now back in St. Jean de Losne and have caught up with our trusted friends Jill and Frank. Thanks for watching our boat and bon voyage!

Yes, the shaft and propeller have been fitted, and now it will be only a matter of days until we are ready to start our next adventure.
